1. Controller

2. What We Collect

We collect and process the following personal data:

  • Account data: Email address, authentication method (email/password or Google OAuth), subscription tier, locale preference
  • Usage data: Projects created, analyses run, scan events, timestamps
  • Creative content: Scripts, treatments, and other material you upload for analysis
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information (collected automatically via server logs)
  • Payment data: Processed by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the ScriptPulse analysis service
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To send transactional emails (password reset, analysis completion)
  • To improve the platform (aggregated, anonymized usage analytics only)

We do NOT:

  • Use your creative content to train AI models
  • Share your content with third parties
  • Sell or rent your personal data
  • Profile you for advertising purposes

4. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing your uploads and delivering analysis reports
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): Platform security, fraud prevention, service improvement
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Optional marketing communications (you may withdraw consent at any time)

5. Third-Party Processors

We use the following sub-processors:

  • Anthropic (USA): AI model provider — processes uploaded material to generate analysis. Subject to Anthropic's enterprise data terms (no training on customer data).
  • Railway (USA): Infrastructure hosting — servers, database, application runtime.
  • Stripe (USA): Payment processing — handles subscription billing and payment methods.
  • Google (USA): OAuth authentication provider (if you choose Google sign-in).

Data transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Creative content: Retained while your account is active. Permanently deleted upon account deletion.
  • Analysis reports: Retained while the associated project exists. Deleted when the project is deleted.
  • Payment records: Retained for 10 years as required by German tax law (§ 147 AO).

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Art. 15)
  • Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”, Art. 17)
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18)
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format (Art. 20)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
  • Withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3))
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit)

ScriptPulse uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
