Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ScriptPulse, a screenplay analysis platform operated by Deep Ink Ventures GmbH (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered at Solmsstraße 11, 10961 Berlin, Germany (HRB 247342, Amtsgericht Charlottenburg).

By creating an account or using ScriptPulse, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The Service

ScriptPulse provides AI-powered screenplay analysis. You upload creative material (scripts, treatments, loglines, exposés) and receive structured analytical reports covering structure, character logic, dialogue, market positioning, and research.

ScriptPulse is an analytical tool. It does not write, rewrite, or generate creative content. All creative work remains yours.

3. Your Content & Intellectual Property

You own your content. All scripts, treatments, character descriptions, notes, and other creative material you upload remain your exclusive intellectual property. We claim no ownership, license, or rights to your creative work.

We do not train on your content. Your uploaded material is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. It is processed solely to generate your analysis report and project documents, then handled according to our data retention policy.

We do not share your content. Your material is never shared with, sold to, or made accessible to third parties, other users, or any entity outside of the analysis pipeline processing your specific request.

Generated analysis belongs to you. Reports, character sheets, structure documents, and other analytical outputs generated by ScriptPulse for your projects are yours to use, share, or distribute as you see fit.

4. Accounts & Access

You must provide a valid email address or authenticate via Google to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You must be at least 18 years old to use ScriptPulse.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

5. Subscriptions & Payment

ScriptPulse offers a free trial scan and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Each analysis (“scan”) consumes one credit from your subscription allowance. Credits do not roll over between billing periods. Re-analysis of an existing stage consumes an additional credit.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until renewal.

6. AI Analysis Disclaimer

ScriptPulse uses AI models (currently Claude by Anthropic) to generate analysis. AI-generated analysis is advisory — it reflects patterns, frameworks, and market data, but is not a substitute for professional script consultation, legal advice, or editorial judgment.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any analysis. Market research, comparable titles, and competitive landscape assessments are based on publicly available information and may not reflect the most current state of the industry.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or extract the AI analysis pipeline
  • Use automated tools to access ScriptPulse at scale without authorization
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
  • Resell or redistribute ScriptPulse analysis as a competing service

8. Data Processing & Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, processing, storage, and your rights.

Your uploaded creative material is processed by AI models hosted by Anthropic (San Francisco, USA). By using ScriptPulse, you consent to this processing. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their enterprise terms, which prohibit training on customer data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deep Ink Ventures GmbH is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of ScriptPulse, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or creative opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to ScriptPulse is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The courts of Berlin, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ScriptPulse.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of ScriptPulse after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
